Ocean Lighting Solutions Return & Exchange Policy
We have a 7-day Exchange policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request an exchange. We do not offer cash refunds. only store credit or exchanges.
To be eligible for an Exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original condition, along with the receipt or proof of purchase and the warranty card with the same serial number if we issued the card separately.

To start an Exchange, you can contact us at oceanlighting303@gmail.com or on our hotline at +94 77 990 0657. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Any applicable courier charges are to be incurred by the customer. Items sent back to us without first requesting an Exchange will not be accepted.
You have 7 days from the delivery date to exchange your Ocean Lighting Solutions online purchase, after your Exchange request is accepted.
Damages and issues
- Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
- We will arrange the courier free of charge in the unlikely event that any items you have ordered from us are damaged or defective, or if the item delivered, is different from what you had ordered
Exceptions / non-returnable items
- Certain types of items cannot be exchanged or returned, like custom order items, Pre-order, and advance paid items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or Stock Clearance items..
Exchanges
Via Online
- You can exchange items from your online order by sending back the item to our warehouse via a courier
- Any applicable courier charges to be incurred by the customer
- We will be unable to release the exchanged product until the original product has been received
- Your request for an exchange will be processed within 2 business days of receiving the item, and undergo a quality review
- Once cleared, we will issue store credit in the form of a discount code for the value of the item(s)
- You can proceed to make a separate purchase for the new item utilizing the code, valid for a limited period
Via Physical Store
- You also have the option of exchanging items from your online order by visiting our store in person in Negombo.
- You must contact the online team via email at oceanlighting303@gmail.com or on our hotline at +94 77 990 0657 to request an in-store exchange
- We will issue a store exchange confirmation via email, which has to be presented at the store when visiting us for an online exchange
- Please note that you have to visit the outlet within 7 days from the confirmed date
- Our staff will inspect and review the condition of the item.
